About Vela

Built in the Middle East,
for the Middle East.

Vela exists because the region deserved a VPN that takes it seriously — fast, honest, and built around how people here actually use the internet.

For years, people across the Middle East had two options for a VPN: pay too much for a global service that barely acknowledged the region, or risk a free one that traded your data for the privilege. Neither felt right.

Vela is what happens when you build a VPN for the Middle East — not one that just happens to be available there.

Bilingual from day one. Pricing the region can afford. Servers chosen for the routes people here actually take. Support that answers in your language, on your time. And, most importantly, honesty about what works where — including the places where a VPN doesn't solve the problem.

We're a small, focused team. We're not trying to be the biggest VPN in the world. We're trying to be the one the region trusts.

Four promises

These aren't marketing lines. They're the rules we hold ourselves to.

Honest answers, even when they're inconvenient

If a service is blocked in your country and bypassing the block is legally risky, we tell you — clearly. We'd rather lose a sale than mislead a user into trouble. That's why our free Service Checker exists: real answers for 14 services across 10 countries, with the legal context that other VPNs leave out.

No activity logs. Ever.

We don't track which sites you visit, what apps you use, or what your traffic contains. We keep only what's needed to run your account — your email, subscription status, and total data used for fair-usage limits. That's the line. We don't cross it.

Real servers in real places

Every Vela server is a real machine in the location it says it is. No "virtual locations" padding a server count, no labels that mean nothing. We'd rather have a handful of servers you can trust than a thousand you can't verify.

Support from real people, in your language

You reach our team on Telegram or by email. We reply in English or Arabic, usually within a few hours. No phone trees, no scripted bots, no support tickets that vanish. If you have a question, you talk to someone who can actually help.

What we don't do

Sometimes a brand is defined as much by what it refuses to do.

No padded server counts. If we say a server is in London, it's a real machine in London.
No fake guarantees. We won't promise a "30-day no-questions-asked refund" that the Play Store can't honor. We tell you what's actually possible.
No selling your data. Some "free" VPNs make money by selling browsing data to advertisers. We don't. Our free plan is free because we want you to try the product, not because you're the product.
No pretending the law doesn't exist. Some countries restrict VPN use for accessing blocked services. We tell you when that's the case — instead of pretending the question doesn't apply to you.

Try it. Decide for yourself.

The free plan gives you 5 GB every month — no card, no commitment. The best way to judge a VPN is to use it.
